Sarah Carroll & the Big Fuss NQR&B 1st Anniversary

I was always going to go to this even if money had been a bit up and down recently. Come to think of it was the same last year even though I was on more money!

Was lucky I was able to make this as I was worried about losing my voice due to a winter cold going on far too long that I missed a memorial the day before just so I could stay close to home. At least I am not missing work for not sleeping or boot scootin' related injury!

I got off the tram early to go see someone I know at the Esplanade market but they had gone home due to the wind. I did see Skipper Josh and their partner out for a walk anyway.

I did end up getting a good seat and was offered to sit at the side. Not really sure of that angle so I mainly got photos sitting down except right at the end for the encore song.

It was the first major gig for the Faraway Three with Nicky del Ray, Alyce Platt and Jack Howard after their house party gig. Some good songs in that and everyone seems to have a go at writing the songs.

Was a great show and Fenn didn't even have to go off to the dunny this time! Was a relief no one had a heart attack on stage this time, would have been a worry! I made it back to the train before it shut down for the night just in time. Is a pain to go to St Kilda for gigs on a Sunday so I really do it these days. Especially not now since someone decided to bag me out for not going! I definitely will not!
