There was quite a lot on this night apart from the Oasis show in the city as everyone else decided to put on their own party it seems.

I had booked this and decided to go even though the start time seemed a bit early. Went down to Co-Conspirators brewery for dinner.

I did not really know many of the bands for this except for the main one and Vigilantonie.

Not many people there for the first couple of hours as I expected. The bands made the best of it and even went and played in the middle of the empty dance floor.

Yobbo the Clown was entertaining enough and did a looping set instead of his usual "clown stuff" due to not many people.

Electric Self turned out to be a side project for someone I knew already so that was one extra band I knew playing. It was quite a bit different than their usual stuff and their disguise is not going to keep their identity a secret long in this town!

Was great to finally see Vigilantonie do a full set in-person and not just the sound check like at the group art show I was in or online like that gig at the Tote. They did get a lot of people up the front for their set including a lot of shifty looking old dudes. They are young and having fun, I don't see the problem with it!

It was a bit odd having the Fomora band on straight after, it killed the mood a bit after the energy of Vigilantonie but not nearly as much as the bands having to follow Mulga Bore doing KISS songs. They were still an interesting band as all their lyrics are spoken word read off ancient scrolls. I recommended them to a couple of people already!

While I did want to stay and see more of Stupid Fuck the Silly Clown's set, I decided it was time to leave when they started passing around the Bahn mi for everyone to have a bite of.

Through a stroke of luck, I managed to get the last extra train for the Oasis crowds' home and managed to get home reasonably early for once.
