Lomond Hotel, Friday 14th & Saturday 15th November 2025
I had been holding off booking anything on this weekend due to it being my birthday and was rewarded when Suzannah booked her album launch over two nights at the Lomond. I was offered a lift over to Archies Creek and back for the Sunday show but at the time I had planned to go to the Polish Festival on the Sunday and had something in the evening on my actual birthday so it would not work.
I had done two night in a row for Sea of Lights when the album originally came out in 2012 so did not want to miss this show.
While it was pretty much the same show both nights with Charles Jenkins saying he did the same set list it seemed a bit different on Friday with a few less people.
Saturday was well and truly sold out and I got to sit on Suzannah's table on the opposite side of the room. It took me much longer than usual to get out at the end as I kept stopping to say hello to everyone I recognised there were a lot! Cheers to Sarah who asked me if I was going to have my 50th birthday party next year. I am not sure yet it depends on if I have the surgery earlier or later in the year.
Was a great couple of nights and I was glad to have gone to both of them.
