Union Hotel Brunswick, Easter Sunday 2025

I saw this was coming up and way to make me eat my words that I was "never" going to go back to this place. Due to the comedy festival being on and other stuff I was not going to be able to go every week like the old days. The hotel even said "welcome back" when I made booking. I updated the review I left the last time I was there before I made it!

Due to not having as much money as previous years I wasn't able to do the "huge rabbit" joke again but did give Suzannah a big bag of mini Easter Eggs to give out as I had taken them in for work but it was too many.

I made sure to get there super early which meant leaving earlier than I would usually do from home. Did not want to take any chances this time. Was great to see Sarah playing first and she even had some guests in her set.

Suzannah had not played a show with her own band since last year which I remember was a big one. I had heard the shows the previous weeks had been busy and I decided to not go to anything else on the Easter weekend due to being busy with the comedy festival and wanting some time off. Was great to see Suzannah doing some new songs even after seeing her do some different ones at the Valentine's Day event. Jack O'Dell and Jeff Lang both got to sing one song each and Suzannah was on the drums for one.

Was a great day, I didn't have to rush off after and luckily there were no train disruptions for once so I could get the train all the way home.
