Jack O'Dell with guests, Tania Lee Davies

Was feeling a bit off today with the protests in the city making everything feel weird. I had booked a table but was not sure how long I would stay for this as it does get busy here.

Jack O'Dell has done the occasional song with Suzannah but not his own gig as yet so I wanted to go to this one. Hopefully people delete that footage they took on their phones, c'mon man! For a first gig on his own and some guests it was pretty good. Look forward to seeing more of his stuff in the future. Has quite a few songs I had not heard of as he played with a lot of people when he was playing in the USA.

I did stay for the first set of Tanya Lee Davies but for some reason Ashley Davies on drums had to step out and Jack took over on drums. It did seem to get a bit too crowded so I decided to leave at the set break and saw Ilana just arriving out the front. Not wanting to go into the city I got the tram and then the train to North Melbourne to get home.
