Archer & Wanita Valentine's Day Show

Brunswick Artist's Bar, Saturday 14th February 2026

Sarah and I get down to the venue after rushing to find it was only doors at the time they said and they were not actually starting until 8.30pm.

Wanita did introduce herself to me as I wanted to get some photos as I had never seen her before.

After she said "I never go first" Archer got up to sing and was just as good as I remember when I used to see him at Pure Pop Records and he had to get a lift back to Southern Cross to catch the train back to Ballarat.

Wanita played some really good songs including a powerful one about domestic abuse from the perspective of the victim. I hear there is meant to be a new recording on the way too.

I was offered a lift home after the first set and took it rather than having to get the replacement bus. Thanks again for Sarah giving me a lift to the gig and dropping me home.
