Cyclo Timik, The Grim Things, The Hybernators

Creatures of Habit Bar & Bandroom, Friday 23rd January 2026

I was trying to hold out for going to gigs in January due to having a busy week when CMAT was going to be in town but this popped up and I decided to go to it at short notice.

Never been to this venue but have heard it come up. Got to at least talk to Dave who was doing his rounds before I went over after finishing dinner.

The Grim Things turned out to be someone from another band I used to see in the past. The lead singer had a hip replacement so had not gigged for a while.

The Hybernators played second which I did not expect. Seemed like a reasonable amount of people for them and the room filled up well.

Cyclo Timik were pretty good, was so many of them I could not fit them all into the same photo. As it was already going to take me two hours to get home and I was overheating I left early. I will try to go see their full show some time in the future.
