I had decided to go to this quite recently when I saw it being advertised. Due to MIFF coming up I have had to wave off gigs apart from the Drones (no photos for that one, I have not gotten permission). Doubly so now as I have been in hospital the week after I went to this gig so no, I will be going to the movie and going home!

Much amusement the night before the gig with Twinkle Digitz saying "maybe" see me at the gig. Did he know there was a gig and I would be taking photos? Pretty hard to not see me in that case!

I made a point of getting the Cheddar Rd Allstars CD off Danny before the show due to Barry Dickins being on it and I remembered Tim Thorpe playing it on Vital Bits quite recently.

Twinkle Digitz did their usual thing. Wally's daughter is helping program the drums now supposedly? Cheers to Emily who I talked to at the gig. Was some speculation about a WAM & DAZ gig but nothing on the horizon.

Gold Coast Leathers is a band I had heard of in other gig listings but had not seen as yet. The drummer is the boss of the band. The boys might jump around at the front but are not running the show! Sent a photo of the drummer to Clare Moore and said to look out for her, as I do with interesting drummers and also that one time when Suzanna played the drums for the first time.

Had really been a while since I saw Danny Walsh Banned with the Reservoir Stomp always being on a Sunday and too far for me to travel on a Sunday as it finished late. I did get to talk to the Weed who I do not remember if I ever did before. Was a great set and I even got some photos at the end where he gave his guitar to someone else to play in the audience and played it on the feet of someone doing a handstand in front of the stage. Finished early enough I could get dinner on the way home and still be home early enough to watch Landline and go to bed early.
