David Brooks "The Other Side of Daylight" Launch

Due to already having CMAT this week and Mach Pelican on the Saturday I wasn't sure I would make this but I was asked to come. The only thing I did differently was to get an extra half hour off work as I was meant to be back in the office but was told to work from home that day. Due to no one else bothering to turn up the next day I am working from home until I have to return to the office.

Michael Crane opened proceedings and even did some of David Brooks' poems that he liked.

I had not seen David Brooks before but I thought he went well and I will look out for him the future. Reminded me of Les Murray that a lot of his work does not really sound like normal poetry at all.
