Brunswick Ballroom, Sunday 10th May 2026

A bit touch on go if I was going to make it to this but decided at the last minute to go to this and nothing else that weekend. The next week I had some movies to see at ACMI I had already booked weeks before. This gig was not on last year for some reason so I was looking forward to seeing it this year.

Due to having the week off work, I was going to get dinner after but I did get some chips to share with Lisa and a drink. Hurt my back cleaning up my room in the arvo and also almost blew up my computer plugging in the vacuum cleaner into the wrong power point.

Was a bunch of people here I knew so I could tell everyone I wanted to tell why I will not be at some gigs for a while in the one place. I told who I needed to tell at least.

A bit hard to pick a real highlight as there were so many great performers. There were some ups and downs but I did notice it thin out a bit towards the end as it was a Sunday evening also, they did not have an afternoon gig due to the soundcheck being in that time.

Was a great gig and I also got to try out getting on the train at Parkville to avoid having to go all the way into the city. For future reference, do not trying a get fried chicken from Maccas as they don't sell much of it for a reason!
